This bra really is hands down THE most comfortable sexy bra you will ever wear. I read the reviews, made my order skeptically, but no joke- after I tried it on , I ordered it in all 3 colors. It is true to size and the lining is perfect- don't worry about it being too cushy- it's not. Buy this bra, you won't be sorry!!!

After reading all the fabulous reviews on this bra I just had to try it... and they were all right on! This bra fits amazingly perfect and I am a busty woman coming in at a size 38F! All my bras before this one have always been minimizers so what a change to have my girls supported with something as sexy as this balcony bra. This bra changes my whole figure and makes me feel proud of my assets instead of constantly trying to hide them through minimizers. If I had to voice one negative on it however it would be that no matter which white shirt I try to wear it under you can still end up seeing the bra underneath, which really is a bummer since that is the only reason that I went with a white bra in the first place... however it is not a big enough complaint for me to send it back or even give it a bad review because all in all I really do LOVE this bra!

This bra is nice, unfortunately it doesn't look very appealing to the more endowed woman. I am a 34DD I should stick with full coverage bras. I adjusted the straps seems to work well with shapewear. Still nice bra, comfortable and sexy.

Sexy silhouette but cups slightly large

For 90% of the bras I buy, I'm a 34D. However, to achieve the "vavava-voom" desired silhouette I would suggest going down 1 cup size granted it's easy to put in inserts as well to be on the safe side. This is not a seamless bra so there will be a bit of pattern showing through on thin fabrics.

I absolutely LOVE this bra. It is gorgeous, sexy and supportive. It gives a very nice rounded shape, and holds everything up well(ddd cup). The best part is, while it looks great, it is so comfortable! I can wear it all day long. So many pretty bras that support well are uncomfortable, but not this one! The band runs a little big, so I should have gotten a 36, but I still cant complain. I am very happy with this bra--If you are busty, try one!

Sexy but inaccurate sizing

This bra is beautiful and appears supportive. The material feels nice on your skin and gives a statuesque look to you figure but the sizing is off. The material is so stretchy that as a 36 DDD I would need a 34 and the cup sizing is a little small therefore I would need the next size up which they do not carry. So unfortunately I will have to wait until my bust shrinks a size before I will truly be able to appreciate this item.

Very comfortable, although it took me a little while to get used to the "feel" of wearing this type of bra (now it's the only style I wear, definitely makes me feel very pretty)!! I have both the white & the beige and surprisingly the white one has held up better over time and washings. The beige developed some pilling around the edges, but the white still looks & feels new.
Bottom line: A+ comfort & A+ for sex appeal

Question: What exactly is the band size, is this the thickness of the bras band, the part that holds extra flesh if you have a meaty back, what exactly does it describe?
Lavinia's Answer:
The band size is based on the measurement (circumference) of the rib cage - that is, the area starting just under the breasts going full circle around the back until you return to the front starting point. A few additional inches are then added to this measurement for the hook and eye closure. If needed, you can view our sizing chart to determine the size. The band size does not refer to the thickness of the band-this is generally driven by the style and support required for a band and cup size.
Question: Does the bra have a smooth enough texture like a t-shirt bra even though there is lace or is it very textured, that if worn with a t-shirt, the lace shows through?
Lavinia's Answer:
If you wear this balcony bra under a t-shirt, the lace will not be very noticeable. While a seamless molded-cup/t-shirt bra provides the smoothest appearance, the lace on this bra is relatively fine and will not create a bumpy effect under your t-shirt like other lace bras. The key here is to have a proper fitting balcony bra. If you not have a proper fit, your breasts could pop over the cup; you will then be showing two extra bumps than planned.
Question: I am interested in buying this bra. Reading some of the reviews someone mentioned about actual size. I wanted to ask you. Does the cup size run small? Should I order a larger size?
Lavinia's Answer:
While bra sizing among manufacturers can vary, I believe the comments are primarily due to the bra style. Generally speaking, not all woman wearing a 38DD/E bra have the same breast shape. Balcony bras, also known as shelf bras, generally provide less coverage than a demi-cup bra and effectively serve to lift breasts up and create fullness on the top half of the breast. If you are a full 38DD/E, meaning your breasts are as round (full) on top as they are on the bottom half - not sloped (more shallow on top, full on bottom) - than the added boost this bra creates may cause you to "pop" over the cup. If you fall into this category (full 38DD/E), I would recommend going up a cup size for this bra style.
If you are more shallow on top, your existing size should be fine. This bra is one of my personal favorites and I wear my regular size. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Question: Does this have heavier padding in bottom of cup (bump pad) and/or graduated padding heavier in the bottom?

No, the bra cups have an even layer of thin foam padding. It is the underlying design/construction of the balcony bra style, which provides the added lift and cleavage.
Question: How many snaps are on the back (36DD size bra); thin 1 or 2 snaps or wide 3 or 4 snaps? Are the shoulder straps adjustable?
Lavinia's Answer:
The back closure of the 36DD balcony bra has three columns and three rows of hooks. Yes, the shoulder straps are adjustable.
